Ibrahim Celikkol has been slotted to star in a new movie about the life of the Persian poet Rumi. The feature film which has completed pre-production and is scheduled to begin filming soon, will be an Iranian-Turkish co-production. Iranian Director Hassan Fat'hi who has co-written the screenplay, will also direct the movie. Celikkol will play a major character in the film and will be accompanied by Iranian actor Parsa Pirouzfar who will play Rumi, and renowned Iranian actor Shahab Hosseini (star of the Oscar winning movies The Separation and The Salesman.
