What's New with Kenan?

Since welcoming his baby girl Lalin in December of 2020, Kenan Imirzalioglu and wife Sinem Kobal welcomed second daughter Leyla in May of this year.

Meanwhile, fans were delighted to hear that Kenan might grace their screens once again in a new series. In March of this year, Turkish entertainment journalist reported that Kenan who has been the Emcee for the hit competition, "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" told reporters he was keen on the digital series "Gri" or “Grey” by OGM Pictures for Disney Plus. Sadly, Kenan decided to pass up this project.

There were also rumors that he also received an offer to play the role of Kuşcubaşı Eşref in the period series "Mahsusa Tripoli", said to be broadcast on TRT 1. The series which will be filmed in Tunisia, Turkey and Algeria features Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, Enver Pasha and Zenci Musa as main characters. But once again, fans were disappointed to hear that Kenan was not in the mix for the series.

As fans wait for Kenan to choose his next project they can continue to enjoy his most recent series, Alef, the winner of 2 major awards in the Best Crime Series and Best Credits categories at the New York Festivals TV & Film Awards. The series is available with subtitles on BluTV.
